Out of the mouth of babes You have ordained strength

My daughter Charlotte (who is in the 1st grade) came home from school yesterday and asked my husband Bill, "Daddy, who is Oolah?" He determined that Charlotte had a conversation about Allah with one of her classmates. It went something like this:

During reading time (the students read to one another), one of Charlotte's classmates was reading a book about planets to her. The little girl told Charlotte, "Allah made the planets." Charlotte said, "No, he didn't. God did. You need to get a Bible." She was so sweet in the way she said it. She told us, "I tried to say it quietly." Bill told Charlotte she needs to pray for the little girl, and be a good friend to her. At bedtime prayers, he asked Charlotte if she wanted to pray for her classmate, and Charlotte said, "I already have. I prayed for her while I was sitting on the toilet." :-)

Psalm 8:2:
Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies,
That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

Matthew 21:15-16: But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?”

And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read,

‘ Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have perfected praise’?”
